4000th post.

My 16 July post was my 4,000th post. Hallelujah. It's been a long ride. 4,000 posts, almost all of which are poo posts. There are a handful of posts like this that are narrative in nature, discussing metrics of this blog. That's a lot of poo posts. Am I crazy? You tell me. All comments are okay, as long as they're not blatantly insulting or disrespectful. 

Also, I discovered that thelis blog no longer features ads. I included ads about 7-8 years ago as a goof, just to see what would happen. And, due to the nature of my blog, I never expected it to be a big revenue source. And I was right. It's literally pennies a day. But after my 11 July post was hidden, I guess they decided to axe the ads as well. Oh well. The blog will go on, ads or not. You're welcome.
